Who doesn't love a desert that starts with the words Chocolate Covered? These chocolate covered frozen bananas are the perfect healthy treat on a hot summer day. Peel. Dip. Freeze. Enjoy.

Serves 8


  • 4 large bananas

Dark Chocolate

  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp cacoa powder
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

White Chocolate

  • 1/2 c cacao butter
  • 1/2 c powdered sugar (or subsitute)*
  • 1/4 c raw cashews (soaked and drained)**
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch sea salt

White Chocolate Raspberry

  • 1/3 c White Chocolate Mixture (from above)
  • 1/2 c raspberries


  • Münki Bananrama Walnuts (chopped up a bit)
  • Shredded coconut (toasted)
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Granola

You'll also need a few popsicle sticks!




  • Peel and cut bananas in half
  • Insert popsicle sticks into cut end of banana halves
  • Place bananas on a baking sheet (not touching) and place in freezer for about 25-30 minutes

While the bananas are freezing, go ahead and make the chocolates and get your toppings ready!

Dark Chocolate

  • Melt coconut oil and allow to cool for a few minutes
  • Add cacao powder and whisk until well mixed
  • Add the maple syrup and whisk to combine

White Chocolate

  • Blend all 5 ingredients in a high-powered blender until smooth

White Chocolate Raspberry

  • Blend 1/3 c White Chocolate with Raspberries in a high-powered blender until smooth

Now it's time to dip, baby dip...

  • Remove bananas from the freezer and dip each banana into the chocolate sauce of your choice
  • Select your topping and either roll or sprinkle them on top
  • You can also drizzle a little bit of chocolate sauce on top - get creative!
  • Pop the chocolate covered bananas back in the freezer for about 15 minutes
  • Remove. Enjoy. Repeat.



* Paleo Powdered Sugar

** Soak the raw cashews in water for about 2 hours. Drain and rinse thoroughly.
